At the Home Screen we’ll see the various play modes available for WWE 2K22, which we outline below: It is composed of four different tabs: Home, Creations, Online, and Options, which makes moving from one game mode to another more seamless depending on the mood you’re having for the day. All of the game modes will be accessible through the new tile-based menu screen for the game. WWE 2K22 will launch with a healthy selection of game modes, a good mix of cinematic, immersive, and simple arcadey fun. We hope that NBA 2K’s evolving soundtrack present in 2K22 can also be brought over to WWE 2K22 to keep the game from getting stale, audio-wise. The base soundtrack includes songs from artists like YUNGBLUD, Bert McCracken, Wu-Tang Clan, KennyHoopla, Motorhead, Poppy, Royal Blood, Bring Me The Horizon, The Weeknd, Turnstile, Asking Alexandria, and Bad Bunny.

The Creation Suite this year will also be cross-platform, letting console players get into the fun as well from the much more robust selection that the PC players tend to create.įinally, the game also gets a Soundtrack curated by Machine Gun Kelly. The Creation Suite goes beyond just custom wrestlers – it also allows players to upload custom images, arenas, and brands, among others.
This will definitely help fill some gaps in the game’s current roster.

Downloadable characters will no longer be limited to paid DLC packs, but also through free community-generated content. Thankfully, the game will still have the popular CAW or Create-A-Wrestler mode which allows players to create, showcase, and share their creations online. Hence, fans will have to rely on the game’s 5 upcoming DLCs to fatten up the wrestling line-up. This is a far cry from the previous WWE 2K games, which usually had over 200 wrestlers in their rosters on the minimum. WWE 2K22 will launch with a roster of 178 different playable wrestlers, managers, and authority figures.

WWE 2K22 comes out on March 11, 2022, (three days earlier with the Deluxe Edition) for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X.
